Job Description

  • Join in Automotive Embedded Software development
  • Perform functional testing and debugging of assembled machines to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Be responsible for software requirement analysis and clarification
  • Ensure that all projects to be implemented are completed on time, within approved project costs and of quality consistent with the contract specifications and statutory compliance.
  • Support low-level and high-level design for software modules
  • Document results, report problems and debug if required
  • Work and co-ordinate team activities, and handle day-to-day work efficiently and independently
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the assembly and engineering teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting.
  • Document test procedures, failure reports, and recommended solutions.
  • Analyze repetitive failure issues and propose process improvements to reduce defects and downtime.
  • Support production teams in optimizing machine assembly, testing efficiency, and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Must be UNDERGRADUATE student, major in Electrical / Electronic Engineering/ Automotive Engineering, Computing Engineering, Information Technology or related major
  • Can work full-time in 6 months, working time: Monday to Friday
  • Good in using English
  • Acquire knowledge in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering / related discipline from university skill and good at debugging both hardware and software
  • Possess negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work under stress and independent
  • Self-discipline, self-motivation and result-oriented
  • Enthusiasm for learn new technologies and ability to self-learning and adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Logical and proactive thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Additional expertise:

  • Understanding in Electric - Electronic and Embedded System
  • Automotive domain, AUTOSAR architecture and automotive communication protocol (CAN, Flexray protocol)
  • Knowledge of 5S, PDCA, and other Kaizen tools for continuous improvement.
